Ella Lacey took a bite at his jade finger, sniffled a little, and asked, "Are you afraid that I'll disrupt your plans? How were you planning to settle scores with Jason Lacey?"
"Lacey girl, didn't you see it? In the end, all those guards answered to me. As long as they stepped into this villa, they would never return." Arthur Lindsey was confident about this.

"So, are you afraid I'll come back and become a burden to you?" Ella Lacey pouted.
"A little..." Arthur Lindsey responded, his smile wicked. "But most importantly, I was worried about your safety. If anything unexpected happened, there's no telling what the outcome could be."
"Arthur, you're such a warm-hearted person." Ella Lacey leaned up and kissed him.
Arthur Lindsey responded, "Lacey girl, I owe you an apology. It seems you ended up helping me?"
