"Little white rabbit, you look pretty nice!" the guy at the front of the group said with a leer.
"Indeed you're not bad, why do I find you even prettier than Debora?" someone at the back echoed.
"Keep it down, Debora isn't far gone. If she hears you, you're toast!"
"That's exactly what I want..."
...
"Hey, pretty little rabbit, how about coming home with us?" The man at the front reached out to lift her sharp chin, but Ella Lacey slapped his hand away.
There was a crisp "crack".
It sounded like the breaking of a finger bone.
The man was shaking his finger, as if it was a disjointed bone barely held together by flesh, complained in pain, "MD, the little white rabbit has quite a strength!"
Of course she was strong. With the hidden support of her protector, Ella Lacey's power was unmatched!
Despite her strength, the group was not convinced. Another man stepped up and said nonchalantly, "Little rabbit, you caught him off guard. But you won't find it so easy with me."
