Ella Lacey secretly decided in her heart that when the time was right, she would definitely tell Arthur about Vermes Marley having surveillance outside the school.
He would investigate Vermes Marley's background.
What she didn't know was, at the same time...
In the CEO's Office of the Lindsey Group, Dilbert Walker was making a report to Arthur Lindsey, "Mr. Lindsey, Harry North discovered that Vermes Marley frequently visits a secluded place on campus, and if he's followed, he manages to shake them off."
"Could it be the place where he took Ella before?" Arthur Lindsey maintained an excellent alertness.
"Quite possibly," agreed Dilbert Walker, "Should we ask Miss Ella? Maybe that place could help us in investigating Vermes Marley?"
"Don't provoke a reaction for now."
Arthur Lindsey measured his words and set down his documents, saying, "I don't want Ella to feel unsafe at school. Her job is to study, she doesn't need to assist us with anything."
