"Really?"
Without giving her a chance to refute, Arthur Lindsey spoke in a deep voice, "Harry, bring them in!"
As soon as he finished talking, Harry North came in escorting a group of handsome men. These were the very men Sally Jefferson had singled out.
She was so frightened that she stepped back a pace, her complexion changing dramatically.
So the newcomer that Ella Lacey had brought in turned out to be Arthur's follower, a plant?!
"Do you recognize her?" Harry North pointed at Sally, addressing the group.
"We do."
"Is she your buyer?" Harry cut straight to the chase.
"Does she have anything to do with that lady?" Harry then shifted his gaze to Ella.
"No." They all denied it unanimously.
The brief confrontation ended.
Arthur's eyes, cold and detached, landed on Sally. "Anything else you want to say, hmm?"
"..." Sally was speechless, frightened out of her wits, her face pale as a sheet.
