Penny Sullivan held on tightly to Ella Lacey's hand unwilling to let go, as if they had been separated for a very long time and she didn't want to let her leave her sight even for a moment.
"Ella, why did you go straight back to school instead of coming home after the Magic Card trip ended?"
She had been brooding over this question for a long time. She had asked her son many times but could never get an answer. Now, she could only wait for Ella herself to give the explanation. Looking at Ella's thinner face, Penny Sullivan said with concern, "My child, stay with us for a few more days. I want to keep nourishing you back to health, it pains me to see you lose weight...".
