The next day was the freshman registration day at the university.
Louis Jefferson drove Ella Lacey to the campus, parking the car right under the girl's dormitory.
Ella Lacey waved goodbye to him with her luggage in her hand, "Thank you, Louis."
"Ella, go ahead, I'll come to see you when I have time." Louis Jefferson said with a gentle smile.
He stood by the camphor tree downstairs, watching Ella vanish into the dormitory, reluctant to leave.
The sunlight filtered through the camphor tree and landed on his hair. He was tall and thin, wearing a simple white shirt, blue jeans, and a pair of vintage-style canvas shoes.
He looked like a beautiful painting.
A few girls passed by, exclaiming:
"Wow, look at that handsome guy!"
"Such a beautiful man!"
"It's like a scene from a movie, a handsome man dressed in white under a camphor tree!"
"He's so handsome that I've got a nosebleed..."
