Anna Ainsworth took Xaviar straight to the Children's Clothing Area. As the child of a rich family, Xaviar naturally had to wear clothes from big brands. Although she wasn't well-off, she could still afford a set of children's clothing.
She was keen on a new autumn outfit that had just hit the market this year, pricey and without any discount, but Xaviar looked just right in it and was stylish too. Anna felt a sting from the price, but seeing how good he looked, she decided to buy it.
However, Xaviar was very sensible. As she asked the waiter to make out the bill, he immediately grabbed her hand and then, like a little adult, asked the waiter, "Is there a discount? I think the sleeves are a bit long on this."
The sleeves were long because Anna had asked for a size up, thinking that children grow, and he could wear it for this season and again next year. She had forgotten that in wealthy families like the Thompsons, clothes are typically only worn for one season.
