"But... what if Brother Thompson really likes you?" Chris was still very concerned. His sister was so beautiful that any man would like her.
What if he liked her? Anna had never really considered this possibility, thinking it was unlikely. However, a small likelihood didn't mean it could never happen.
"If he... really does like me, then he doesn't have a wife," Anna comforted her worried younger brother.
"He doesn't have a wife?" Chris furrowed his brow slightly, looking puzzled at Anna: "Then where did his son come from?"
"You mean Xaviar?" Anna thought for a moment and said: "I didn't ask about that. I only know he's not married. As for the child, I guess he might be from a past girlfriend, or maybe he adopted him."
"Oh, I see," Chris finally breathed a sigh of relief, a dubious smile spreading across his face, and he said to Anna, "If that's the case, I think Brother Thompson is quite nice. And Xaviar just now, he's really adorable. I like both of them a lot."
