"Hey, Jaylene Ziel, wasn't last night your blind date? Did you find a suitable match?"
Before getting off work, Steve, who just returned to the company from the construction site, asked with a mocking tone.
Before Jaylene could answer, the surrounding gazes instantly focused on her. Someone teased, "Are girls nowadays so eager to get married? Jaylene, aren't you only 24 years old? Are you afraid you won't be able to get married?"
"Oh, it's not that she's afraid of not getting married. She just wants to find a good one while she's still young," Ivy chimed in. "You think we're all like us, dumb and not planning for ourselves."
"Exactly," Griffin agreed. "If we were all as stupid as us, could we have made it into Sincere Limited without any previous work?"
Jaylene chose to ignore her colleagues' sarcastic remarks, quickly packed her office desk, and left without paying attention to those envious and jealous looks.
