In the observation room at the hospital, Jaylene Ziel was going through a rather different situation.
The broth that Jinna Evans had stewed, which Jaylene used to love, now somehow tasted a bit off compared to usual.
Could it be that after a fall, even her sense of taste had changed? That's what Jaylene thought as she scooped up another spoonful to taste.
"Elly, do you think this soup tastes a little strange?" Jaylene asked the nurse.
"I don't drink the soup Chinese people make," Elly said with a laugh: "You Chinese have such strange ways of stewing soup, adding all sorts of herbs and medicinal ingredients. We're not used to it, I find all Chinese stews strange."
Well, the nurse was from the United Kingdom and couldn't help her discern the taste of the soup. Jaylene felt a bit helpless and had to give up on the soup, asking Elly to bring her some meals instead.
