"Brother Thompson, I'm so sorry, I didn't know you were still at the hospital and didn't bring you any meals," Jinna Evans showed a face full of guilt. "I'm just silly, not knowing to make a phone call before I came over. If I had known you were still at the hospital, I should've brought you the meals."
"It's okay, I was going to..." Joseph Thompson hadn't finished speaking when he noticed that Jinna Evans's clothes were all wet, and her hair was drenched too.
"What happened to you?" Joseph Thompson asked, pointing to Jinna Evans's wet attire with his finger.
"It started raining outside, and I forgot to bring an umbrella when I rushed out the door," Jinna Evans replied with a smile, then quickly added, "But don't worry, I put sister-in-law's insulated lunch box inside my clothes, so it definitely didn't get rained on. The food inside must still be warm."
