"Ah..." Bella White gasped, waking up from her dream.
"What's wrong?" Mateo Torres, lying beside her, got scared and hurriedly turned on the table lamp on the bedside table.
Bella's face looked a bit pale, as if she had been frightened, which now scared Mateo too.
"Bella, what happened? What's wrong?" Mateo asked anxiously.
"I dreamed of Jaylene," Bella turned to look at Mateo and said, "I dreamed she was covered in blood, and the child... the child also...."
The scene was too horrific; Bella could hardly continue. She felt terrified just thinking about the scene in her dream.
"You're just missing them too much," Mateo quickly comforted Bella, "Didn't you make a call to Jaylene three days ago? Didn't she say everything was fine over there?"
"I know Jaylene all too well. She always shares the good news and keeps the bad to herself." Bella shook her head and said, "No, I have to go and see for myself. They are there by themselves, and Joseph has to work. I'm not at ease."
