Jaylene Ziel and Joseph Thompson's trip was scheduled for mid-July, and according to Joseph, they planned to hold their belated wedding ceremony in early July before leaving the country.
But Jaylene didn't agree, mainly because she felt her pregnancy was quite advanced by now, standing with a big belly, unable to fit into any wedding dress, all of which would have to be custom-made from scratch.
Having a dress custom-made was one thing, but wearing a wedding dress with a big belly was another, and most importantly, her face had begun to show pregnancy marks.
"I want to be the most beautiful bride, not one with a face full of marks," Jaylene shouted to Joseph.
"Besides, with so many people at the wedding, what if something happens, like a fall or getting pushed?"
So, she firmly refused to hold a wedding with Joseph while pregnant, saying that even if they were to make it up, they would have to wait until she had given birth and her body had recovered.
