Tyson Thornton handed her the mobile phone and said, "Alisha, I really didn't lie to you. She went crazy with alcohol last night, threw up all over me, and I just washed off the filth from my clothes before leaving. Then, while driving back, the company President called me—he had come over from Bay City and wanted me to join him. So, I went to drink with the President, stayed until after 3 a.m., and, fearing I would disturb you if I came home so late, ended up sleeping in a hotel room at the amusement city with them. This morning, I went straight to the office from there."
"Really?" Alisha looked at him, half-believing, half-doubting.
"If you don't believe me, you can call my assistant. He was with me last night, and it was he who drove Kylie Bates to the hotel."
After saying this, Tyson Thornton immediately took out his mobile phone to find his assistant's number and handed it to Alisha, "Do you want to ask him?"
