Randy Ziel hurried forward to speak to his former mother-in-law, naturally not daring to let her know that he had married another woman yesterday, and that last night was his wedding night with the other woman.
Perhaps because she was not in good spirits due to her illness, Grandmother did not take Randy Ziel to task; she only mentioned that she was fine, that she had had blood drawn this morning, and would be undergoing various checks later, telling Randy Ziel not to worry and to go about his business.
As they were talking, Uncle and Brandon also came over – they had been here since early in the morning, personally witnessing the nurse taking Grandmother's blood. Only after the nursing staff went to the dining hall and brought back some millet porridge did the two of them go to the dining hall for breakfast.
