Jaylene Ziel returned only to see Ethan Thompson coming out of the courtyard entrance with a briefcase in hand, looking like he was about to leave.
"Dad's back?" Jaylene hurriedly greeted him, because Ethan hadn't returned to the big courtyard during this holiday.
"Yes, he returned at noon, and now he's rushing back to Hong Kong that side," replied Ethan, glancing at her bulging belly and then cautioning her, "Be careful when walking, and don't go to the city district if you don't have to. Pure Waterside Community has nice scenery, perfectly suitable for your prenatal needs."
Jaylene's face turned slightly red, and she quickly nodded in agreement, "Okay, I'll stay at Pure Waterside from now on. The city district is crowded, with too many cars and bad air quality. Actually, I don't like going there either. Today, I went to visit my mother's grave; it's her one-year death anniversary."
