The road was clear of traffic, and Joseph Thompson only took one hour to drive to the Mountain and Riverside Countryside Resort.
"I wonder if Teacher White will like this gift?" said Jaylene Ziel as she got out of the car, holding the specially custom-made present for Bella White and still mumbling to herself.
"Stop calling her 'Teacher White' all the time. You're my wife, and I'm her son, so you should call her 'Mum' later on," Joseph corrected her solemnly.
"I've got it, but I can't just change how I address her overnight, can I?" Jaylene rolled her eyes at Joseph. Honestly, he'd reminded her several times already on the trip.
Naturally, Joseph understood the meaning in her eyes and couldn't help but say again, "I've reminded you several times and you still haven't remembered. Is a pregnant woman's memory really getting that poor? I'm beginning to doubt whether you can go back to postgraduate studies next year."
