"This is Jaylene Ziel, the new wife of my second cousin."
Raine Thompson enthusiastically introduced the noblewoman beside her, then turned to Jaylene and said, "This is Mrs. Richardson."
Jaylene didn't know who Mrs. Richardson was or what she was related to but since Raine had introduced her, she nodded politely, "Nice to meet you, Mrs. Richardson."
Mrs. Richardson looked at her, a hint of surprise on her face, and examined Jaylene from head to toe before wrinkling her brow and asking, "Your name is Jaylene Ziel?"
Jaylene nodded faintly, "Yes."
Mrs. Richardson showed a gentle smile, "Nice to meet you."
"Thank you," Jaylene replied politely but distantly, then turned to Raine and said, "I'm going to the supermarket downstairs to buy groceries. You two take your time shopping."
Raine quickly said, "Jaylene, I haven't given you any gifts since you married my second brother. Let's pick out a bracelet today, shall we?"
