At Star Ocean City, Jaylene Ziel had just packed the big bone into the insulated lunch box when Joseph Thompson arrived, looking haggard as if he had braved the winds and dust.
"Didn't you say you were going to have meetings in City G for two days? How come you're back so soon?" Jaylene opened the door and, surprised to see him, quickly asked.
"I condensed the meetings. Unnecessary ones got canceled," Joseph Thompson eyed the insulated lunch box on the dining table, "How's my dad doing? Is it serious?"
"He got a big gash on his forehead, took seven or eight stitches, they did a CT scan on his brain, just a mild concussion, the doctor said two nights in the hospital should be enough." Jaylene hastily reported Ethan Thompson's condition.
"That's good to hear," Joseph was relieved to hear from Jaylene that it wasn't serious and quickly asked as he saw her picking up the lunch box, "Where are you off to with that?"
