"Hey, Joseph Thompson, do you think Dad encountered something unpleasant today?"
Tonight, Jaylene Ziel leaned against the bed, holding a maternal and infant book. Seeing the man wrapped in a bath towel coming out of the bathroom, she immediately closed the book and couldn't help but ask.
"How would I know? I'm not my dad," Joseph Thompson laughed and said, "Why are you worrying about it? It's better if we juniors don't fret over our elders' affairs."
"I don't mean to worry," Jaylene quickly explained, "It's just that Dad seemed to look a little off. Could it be that he saw Teacher White and your adoptive father at the high-tech exhibition too?"
"What? My mom and my adoptive father went to the technology exhibition too?" Joseph exclaimed.
Jaylene gave him a look, "You were at the exhibition yourself, didn't you even see your own mom?"
