In the evening, Joshua Campbell left Beacon Hill and just happened to see a man and a woman in a dark corner wrestling with each other, one of the women trying to snatch something from a man's hand.
"Give it to me, hurry up and give it to me," the woman's slightly husky voice carried an urgency, and because the man was quite tall, she even jumped to grab the object from his hands.
"No, William Davis said you can't have it until you've completed the task," the man hid the item behind his back and looked at the woman in front of him, saying, "Now, you hurry upstairs and finish the task. Once the task is complete, I can give you this."
"But I need it now, right now," the woman's voice continued urgently, "Hurry up and give it to me, quickly."
"Get lost, go do what you have to do," the man roughly kicked the woman aside and turned to walk deeper into the dark area.
