The class reunion lasted a bit late, and by the time it was over, it was already 10 p.m. Jaylene Ziel, who had drunk several cups of alcohol, was somewhat unsteady on her feet when she was walking.
"Why don't I take you home, Jaylene?" Max Taylor noticed her unsteady walk and quickly offered.
Before Jaylene could refuse, Alexander Preston spoke up first, "No need to bother Max. I can take Jaylene home. I'm familiar with her place, and you guys can't find the way."
With that sentence, Alexander blocked Samuel Yates' attempt to offer himself as Jaylene's escort.
"Can't you find it with a navigation system?" Samuel Yates protested, "tell me Jaylene's address, Alexander."
"Samuel, don't add to the commotion," Elizabeth Olsen quickly interrupted, "Alexander is familiar with Jaylene and her parents. It's late at night, and it's not good for a stranger to send Jaylene home. I still think it's safer to let Alexander take her home."
