Susanna Smith huffed out of the room after delivering the food, then turned back at the doorway to say to Jaylene Ziel, "Just keep a tight hold on Joseph Thompson, I'd like to see how long you can control him."
Jaylene felt Susanna's words were somewhat amusing. How could she be controlling Joseph, a man lying there all day as a comatose, unmoving figure?
Besides, what was the point of controlling a comatose person? She really couldn't understand what was going on in Susanna's head.
Shaking her head, Jaylene paid no attention to Susanna and picked up a magazine instead. She sat down beside Joseph's hospital bed and began reading.
In fact, the magazine was a copy of "Reader" brought by Alisha, filled with little stories from around the world.
If she were alone, she could leisurely flip through the magazine while leaning on the sofa, simply to pass the time.
