"Phoebe, what were you discussing with Aunt and Gale Summer before dinner?" After finishing dinner and instructing the servants, Susanna Smith came to Phoebe Smith's room and asked.
"Aunt, I was saying that Jaylene Ziel might be hiding some unspeakable secrets," Phoebe Smith said mysteriously.
"Unspeakable secrets?" Susanna Smith's brow slightly furrowed, "What kind of secrets could Jaylene have? Doesn't she just spend all day taking care of Joseph Thompson without interfering in company matters? What could she possibly do?"
"She could fake a pregnancy," said Phoebe Smith with a look of cleverness, "Aunt, think about it, if she wasn't pregnant and the second brother became comatose, would she have any status in the Thompson Family?"
Susanna Smith was slightly stunned, then glared at Phoebe Smith and said, "Can't you use your brain? Jaylene herself didn't even know she was pregnant, it was the hospital that found out when they checked her blood, okay?"
