"Jaylene, won't you be too tired taking care of Joseph every day at the hospital?" Bella White looked at her worriedly. "You are a pregnant woman, and pregnant women need to be taken care of."
"Not tired, no," Jaylene said to Bella White. "Actually, he just lies there without moving. Aunt Tara prepares juice and other liquid foods for him daily, and I feed it to him slowly. He's not constipated and he's easy to take care of. The only time it takes a little effort is when I have to clean his body every day, but it's not that strenuous."
Jaylene spoke lightly, but Bella White knew that taking care of a comatose person was far from as easy as it sounded, especially bathing, changing clothes, and helping with bowel movements — none of these tasks were easy.
