The mobile phone transmitted a slightly confused low male voice: "Is your class reunion at Beacon Hill?"
Jaylene snapped back to her senses, damn, it turned out that the call wasn't from Alexander Preston, but from Joseph Thompson.
"Yeah," Jaylene casually replied, "my high school classmate returned from overseas, an overseas returnee and talented young man. Everyone's holding a party for him, and I have to join in the fun, right?"
Overseas returnee? Talented young man?
Joseph on the other end of the phone twitched with a smirk, Jaylene you foolish woman, don't you have a talented sea turtle in your house? And still looking outside for one?
"I've arrived, I have to park the car, can't talk anymore," Jaylene said, wanting to hang up. She couldn't maneuver the car into the parking space with just one hand.
"Have fun," Joseph cautioned softly, "drink less tonight; drunk driving is not allowed now."
