"Susanna, what's wrong with you? Out first thing in the early morning, and you return all downcast. Who has upset you?" Sophia Wilson asked with a furrowed brow as she watched her daughter-in-law walk in from outside the gate.
Susanna Smith shook her head, managing a forced smile: "Nothing, I just went out to buy some things this morning. By the way, who's at home?"
"Phoebe, who else? She drove back early in the morning again, saying she's scared to live at the Zhuang's place alone." Sophia Wilson shook her head. Phoebe Smith was already 25 yet always acted like a child.
"Oh, I see," Susanna Smith responded listlessly and slowly made her way into the hall.
