When it came to climbing Mount Sanford, Jaylene Ziel and Joseph Thompson's initial plan was to hike all the way up. After all, they came here to hike, and while the cable car was quick, it did take away the joy of climbing.
Both were quite enthusiastic and determined, so when they began their hike, they chose a proper mountain trail without going for options like the ones used by electric vehicles.
However, sometimes determination isn't enough, especially if the body can't keep up. This was particularly true for Jaylene Ziel, a young woman who spent her days sitting in the office and rarely climbed mountains throughout the year. Mountain climbing wasn't as easy as one might think.
About two hours in, Jaylene Ziel, who had been carrying no supplies, finally collapsed from exhaustion. She called out to Joseph Thompson, who had been carrying the backpack, "Joseph, I can't go any further. Could you carry me, please?"
