On the twenty-ninth of the Lunar New Year, Jaylene Ziel and Joseph Thompson spent their time at the orphanage, where they helped the children there to make bread dumplings, and everyone was happily busy.
This was Joseph Thompson's first visit to an orphanage, and it was also his first time to personally experience the challenges faced by the children there, as well as their genuine enthusiasm.
There were children of various ages in the orphanage, from a few months old to teenagers, and apart from the staff, older children also helped to take care of the younger ones.
The Dean of the orphanage told him, "Actually, what we hope for most is that someone will adopt these children so that they can have a healthy, complete home and the love of their parents."
Joseph Thompson nodded, knowing this, but adopting a child is a big deal, and the process must follow certain procedures; it is not something that anyone can simply choose to do.
