"Hello, can you please untie the rope on my hand?" Jaylene urgently asked the servant.
Seeing that the maid remained motionless, Jaylene guessed that she probably didn't understand Chinese, so she quickly repeated herself in English.
"Davis didn't instruct me to do this. I can't untie it for you on my own," the maid answered in somewhat awkward Chinese.
