Phoebe Smith sat dejectedly on the sofa, looking at the plane ticket and card her aunt-in-law handed over. She clenched her teeth, tears welling up in her eyes.
She had just returned from the Public Security Bureau in the morning, and it had only been a few hours since she got home. She hadn't even had a chance to rest, and her aunt had already handed her this.
"Go, and do it as quickly as possible." Susanna Smith looked at her niece-in-law, "Don't stay in China, because it's not in your best interest to do so."
"What's not in my best interest?" Phoebe Smith dismissed it casually, "Hasn't the responsibility entirely been taken by those two waiters? So, shouldn't it be the case that Aurora and I are freed from blame?"
"Freed from blame?" Susanna Smith glared at her, "Can't you think more clearly? What if someone offered more money and those two waiters change their testimony?"
