On August 29th, Randy Ziel returned from his hometown, and Jaylene went to the train station to pick him up.
Since her father hadn't explicitly expressed his opinion on her marriage to Joseph Thompson, Jaylene didn't ask Joseph to come along. Instead, she went to the train station herself after getting off work.
"Dad, why did you bring so much stuff?" Jaylene said as she saw Randy Ziel dragging a large suitcase. She hurried over to help him with the suitcase, only to find it quite heavy.
"Local products from my hometown. I received a bit from everyone, so it adds up," Randy Ziel said, watching her struggle and offering help: "Should I carry some stuff in my hands instead?"
"No need, there's a taxi at the door." Jaylene dragged the suitcase and accompanied her father towards the exit.
"So, how's your mum doing in the United States?" Randy Ziel asked as soon as they boarded the car, worried about his wife's condition overseas.
