Jaylene couldn't care less about explaining to these aunties and ran straight home. As she reached the doorway, she saw a truck parked outside and several people were unloading things.
She entered the yard with a headache, and her grandmother immediately pulled her aside and asked seriously, "Jaylene, tell me, what's going on between you and Joseph now?"
Jaylene felt a severe throbbing in her temples and thought for a moment before saying, "Actually, he and I are... still just friends."
"Friends?" her grandmother snorted. "Do you think I'm senile? If you're just friends, why would he buy so much stuff for no reason?"
Jaylene watched the people coming in and out, then spoke after a while, "It's more like a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. He's pursuing me, but I didn't expect him to bring so many things here."
