"Hey, Jaylene, did you just get out of Joseph Thompson's car?" Alisha looked at Jaylene, who had just run up the stairs, and asked with a smile.
"Shh," Jaylene immediately held up her index finger, making a silence gesture, then pointed at her door, "My dad's inside, and he's really against Joseph Thompson."
Alisha quickly understood and whispered in her ear, "Your dad's dislike is one thing, but you really do owe Joseph Thompson quite a bit."
Upon hearing this, Jaylene felt a headache coming on. Joseph was fine in every other aspect, but his blackmail annoyed her.
"Luckily, he's impotent, so you don't have to worry about him taking advantage of you," Alisha teased before whispering with a laugh, "Did he cause that purple bruise on your neck from being too forceful?"
Jaylene glared at her and ignored her, took out her key to open the door, but Alisha couldn't help but laugh out loud.
