"Aurora, keep your voice down," Joseph hurriedly approached, casting a glance at the closed door as if afraid the soundproofing wasn't good enough.
"Do I need to lower my voice?" Aurora sneered contemptuously, "Who doesn't know about your impotence now?"
"Aurora..." Joseph took a small step forward, trying to reach for Aurora's hand, but she ruthlessly shook him off.
"Don't touch me; your touch reminds me of the eunuchs that carried concubines in ancient times." Aurora's words were incredibly sharp and acerbic.
"Aurora, we have been in love for so many years; it hasn't been easy. Don't you have any affection left for me?" Joseph begged pitifully.
"Affection?" Aurora laughed sarcastically, "Joseph, if I didn't value our relationship, would I have let you escape first four years ago? But this is how I treated you, and yet how have you treated me?"
"..." Joseph hung his head, looking like a person with a guilty conscience.
