On Sunday, Jaylene Ziel had breakfast in her father's hospital ward, then returned to the house where she had lived with her parents for more than a decade.
As she planned to sell that house, she had to hand over the keys to the agency company today for them to show the house to potential buyers. So, she had to go back and pack up some items that were not important to others but valuable to herself and move them to her rented apartment.
Since her life had already fallen into a difficult situation, she no longer dared to take a taxi casually. Hence, she chose the subway, followed by two transfers of public transport.
On Sunday morning, the subway was still overcrowded, which in an author's words would be a scene where people were squeezed to the point of getting pregnant without knowing who the father of the child was.
