"Pff..." Jaylene Ziel frowned, placing her empty cup back on the tray, "What kind of water is this? Why is it so hard to drink? My throat feels a bit prickly too."
"..." The waiter was speechless. Did he tell her it was water? Didn't she just drink too fast on her own?
"This...isn't water?" Jaylene looked at the weirdly awkward waiter.
"Gin," the waiter shook his head while looking at her, "High alcohol content white wine. Luckily, you've only drank a small portion."
"..." Jaylene Ziel was left speechless.
Don't people at parties always drink red or white wine? That's why she guessed it was water when she saw it was colorless.
But, who is this twisted? Dinner just ended, how can they be drinking gin?
...
Jaylene exited the elevator and saw a group of men and women arguing by the hall entrance being a bit grabby. Maybe they had too much to drink, or perhaps they succumbed to drunken madness.
