Joseph Thompson didn't expect to bump into Aunt Susanna at the hospital when he went downstairs to get some medicine for his grandmother. He initially wanted to hide, but Susanna Smith saw him first, so he had no choice but to tough it out and greet her.
"Joseph, what are you doing at the hospital so early in the morning? Is something bothering you?" Susanna was also startled.
"Nothing's wrong, I just have a cold," Joseph Thompson replied faintly, quickly changing the subject: "Have you finished your grandmother's medicine?"
"Yeah, she finished it yesterday, so I rushed over this morning after breakfast to help her get some more."
"Alright, Aunt Susanna, you're busy, and I've got something to do, so I won't accompany you." Joseph Thompson said this and then turned around to leave.
"Eh, Joseph, are you coming back tonight?" Susanna asked.
"Not sure." Joseph Thompson left those words behind as he quickly entered the elevator.
