"Jaylene, get up, it's getting late, you'll be late if you don't get up now." Nancy Scott knocked on the door vigorously, raising her voice and calling her daughter's name.
Her daughter had not returned home the night before and returned yesterday morning looking exhausted, as if she hadn't slept the night before.
She had a feeling that something was wrong, so she asked urgently. Her daughter replied that she had a social engagement, drank too much and stayed at a hotel overnight.
After coming back yesterday, she took a bath and went to sleep, didn't get up for dinner last night, and still hadn't gotten up this morning.
Just as Nancy Scott was about to knock again, Jaylene opened the door from inside, already having washed and changed her clothes.
"Jaylene, are you sick?" Nancy Scott asked anxiously.
