Brook Town is adjacent to the North Canton Mountains, it is actually a small town at the foot of the mountains by a brook, named after the water which flows all year round.
No one knows exactly when this brook was formed, not even the oldest people in the town can tell, all they know is that it has been passed down from generation to generation.
Jaylene had visited Brook before but only during the summer holidays. The hot weather in Bay City made Brook a comfortable place for her because it was cool in the summertime.
Visiting in the wintertime, however, was a different story. In January, the temperature in Bay City was still around 20 degrees Celsius or even 27-28 degrees on hot days.
Brook was different, with current temperatures in the teens and around 10 degrees at night, Jaylene naturally felt a bit unadapted.
