Gale Summer waved her hand: "Don't thank me, thank my second brother if you want to. I'm just running errands."
Jaylene immediately turned to Joseph, her voice sincere: "I'm so grateful, I don't know... If it wasn't for you guys tonight, I don't know what would've happened to my mom."
"It's just a small matter after all. Besides, your mom is my... former mother-in-law, isn't she?"
Joseph looked into her clear, mirror-like eyes, his mouth slightly curving into a smile.
"I still have some things to do, so I'll come see my aunt tomorrow," Gale Summer turned to Joseph: "Second brother, in case of emergency, you should stay behind."
"How can we impose like that?" Jaylene hesitated: "It's already late, both of you should go back."
