Just then, the waiter brought the snow pear juice that Jaylene had ordered. She picked it up and took a sip immediately. It was sweet, so sweet that it seemed to touch her heart!
Life after her divorce was much more comfortable than before!
"So, Miss, you came specifically to find me today because you want to buy that red Touareg of mine, right?"
Jaylene put down her snow pear juice cup. The sweetness of the juice had lifted her spirits considerably.
"Yes, so hurry up and give me a price."
Aurora's face showed a smug sense of victory, and her tone remained gentle: "As long as the price isn't outrageous, I think I should be able to accept it."
"Outrageous?" Jaylene laughed, looking at Aurora opposite her, her mouth curling up in a mocking smile: "What kind of price do you think is reasonable, Miss Richardson?"
"Of course, it should be based on the current market price of a used Touareg," Aurora was a smart woman; she would never foolishly say a number outright.
