In her understanding, makeup was just about drawing eyebrows, applying some colored lipstick, adding a bit of eyeshadow if you were fancier, and maybe brushing on some mascara for short eyelashes, just like Hannah Taylor, who wore makeup all day in the design department.
Now, as a real makeup artist worked on her face, Jaylene realized that makeup was not that simple. There were so many intricacies involved, many of which she had never heard of before.
Joseph Thompson stood behind her and asked the makeup artist working on Jaylene's reflection in the mirror, "Doesn't her face somewhat resemble Aurora Richardson?"
"Yes, there is some resemblance," the makeup artist honestly said, "Actually, it's mainly the upper half of her face that looks similar, while the lower half is still somewhat different. Miss Richardson's face is thinner, with a more pointed chin, while Jaylene's chin is slightly rounder, which gives her a more fortunate appearance."
