"Joseph, come upstairs for a moment," Ethan Thompson stood up from the dining table and coldly glanced at his son, who was already at the doorway. "Upstairs, in my study!"
Joseph stood there, frowning and not moving. Susanna Smith came over and said to him, "Hurry up and go. You know your father's temper. Don't argue with him later; just listen."
Joseph tightened his lips, glanced at Susanna, and walked toward the upstairs. He had a hunch that his father was angry about.
Ethan's study was located next to the master bedroom on the 2nd floor. When Joseph walked in, Ethan was already waiting for him.
Just as Joseph closed the door, Ethan's cold gaze swept over him, "Look at you! What has your marriage become?"
Joseph did not speak. He had always believed that his father had no right to criticize him, especially when it came to marriage. His father was a good parent, but not a good husband!
