"What happened to your chin?" Joseph Thompson stepped forward, reached out, and grabbed Jaylene Ziel's arm again.
Jaylene originally wanted to dodge Joseph's hand, but when she looked up and saw Aurora Richardson's face flushed red with jealousy, she changed her mind in an instant.
So when Joseph successfully grabbed her arm, she leaned against his shoulder, speaking in a soft and aggrieved voice: "I was just rear-ended, wasn't I? My body lunged forward, and my chin hit the steering wheel."
"Does it hurt?" Joseph looked at the bruise on her chin, which was tinged with purple and had occasional traces of blood, making it look rather shocking.
"I'll take you to the hospital to get it checked out," Joseph said, pulling Jaylene away without giving her a chance to escape or object.
"Brother Joseph!" Aurora Richardson whined from the side, her tears almost falling.
"Aurora, didn't I tell you to leave first?" Joseph noticed that Aurora hadn't left yet, his brows furrowing slightly.
