Seeing that her daughter wasn't talking, Nancy Scott chuckled and said, "Jaylene, do you think you and Joseph are as good a match as these blind dates?"
Jaylene's mouth twitched, and she replied indifferently, "Not really. Joseph and I didn't even talk about getting married until our third meeting."
With a laugh, Nancy Scott teased her daughter, "From the time you met Joseph to getting married, it was only half a month. If that's not a fast match, what is? A flash marriage?"
"Mum, flash marriages end in divorce," Jaylene grumbled unhappily, "If you classify my marriage to Joseph as a flash marriage, are you hoping we'll get a divorce?"
Laughing even louder, Nancy Scott pointed at Jaylene's forehead and said, "You always argue with me, twist my words, and you're so naive!"
