He was clearly stunned for a moment before quickly ending the call with Aurora Richardson, immediately turning towards the swaying figure.
Indeed, it was Jaylene Ziel. Her cheeks were red, and she was emanating a heavy smell of alcohol. She was already struggling to walk straight as her steps faltered and her body swayed persistently.
This infuriated Joseph Thompson. He caught her by the shoulders, steadying her trembling body and he growled, "Jaylene Ziel, where have you been messing around? How did you end up in such a state? How much did you drink?"
Jaylene lifted her head, slightly squinting her eyes. Looking at the man oscillating in front of her, she shook her head and raised her hand to clutch his head, "Could you stand still? Stop shaking like this, okay? Wait, who are you? What are you doing in front of my house?"
Joseph Thompson was furious, almost spitting blood. Clearly, she was the one swaying, and yet, she accused him. Worst of all, she didn't even recognize him.
