Since they were in a rush and Joseph Thompson was driving, the vehicle went much faster than usual, making Jaylene Ziel feel a little carsick. When they arrived, her head felt dizzy.
"As a driver yourself, how come you're carsick?" Joseph held Jaylene, whose face was slightly pale, "Are you alright? Did you catch a cold?"
"I'm fine. Maybe it's just that you're driving too fast," Jaylene shook her head. Once she stepped out of the car, she felt better.
When they arrived at the Ziel family home, Nancy Scott had already prepared dinner and was waiting for them.
Surprisingly, not only were her father's proud students, Senior Brother Wilfred Williams and Heidi Gibson there, but Alexander Preston was there as well. The moment Alexander saw Jaylene bringing Joseph in, his face visibly stiffened.
Not just Alexander, but even Wilfred and Heidi were stunned. In their eyes, Alexander and their junior sister Jaylene were supposed to be a perfect couple.
