"Can't you stay for even a moment?" Kevin Cliff yanked her back, his voice cold and displeased.
"You've known that for a long time, haven't you?" Charlotte Green replied with an even colder voice.
Kevin Cliff's mood darkened abruptly as he firmly pulled her hand toward the bridge set under the waterfall.
Charlotte Green tried to pull her hand back, but in her effort, she accidentally touched a rough spot, the base of his thumb, and without looking, she knew it was where she had bitten him before.
He hadn't even gotten rid of it—for him, erasing a small bite mark was nothing, so why keep it? What was he trying to prove?
