After Charlotte Green had made contact with the buyer and sold the BFF House, she stood outside for one last look when she bumped into Ava, the part-time student worker who once worked at the BFF House.
"Sister Charlotte, is BFF House reopening? I'm looking for a job, can I come back?" Ava asked eagerly, grabbing her hand.
"I've sold BFF House already, just signed the agreement. I don't know what the new owner is going to do with it, you can come check it out in a while," Charlotte Green said apologetically.
"It's sold? That's okay. I actually quite liked BFF House, enjoyed the atmosphere it had and the business philosophy it employed, it's a shame," Ava said, unable to hide her disappointment.
"Don't worry, you're still young, you'll find a job you like even more," Charlotte Green reassured with a smile, but suddenly she felt old, perhaps it was because her state of mind had changed.
